Those shown in a row above all look very handsome and well-proportioned. The only thing throwing it off for me is the dainty shoe size makes these lasts look extremely attenuated -- unless that is a trick of the photography.

I`ve got a feeling they could be all F width`s - my experience is that those who wear a standard E don't fit well into F width`s - that could explain the effect you mention.

Wouldn't it be great if shoe websites had photos of their shoes in different sizes?  I'm an 11/11.5US so a website or display shoe never looks like the actual shoe in my size!

Sprout2,

It is the photography I think, we wanted to get some pictures out as quickly as possible hence the foreshortening. We'll take some better ones and post.

daizawaguy,

They're E widths and I think the problem is to do with the photographs, we'll post some better ones.

NickCarraway,

How about we post pictures of all sizes together, like a weird group shot when we get the first order through?

Do you still have a partnership with Edward Green?

Am considering ordering some E.G. shoes on the 888 last, but I desire them with Foster's black fading?

Is this possible?

Michael Ay329,

We aren't having shoes made for us by EG at the moment though we do have three or four pairs left. Please PM me your size and I'll tell you what we have. There are other options for fading which I'd be happy to take you through.

+1 on the Chequers Tavern!  Was one of my after-work standbys when I was splitting time between DC and London!

I took a few shots today when visiting Andy and Jon (the last maker). Wanted to show the Fred Astaire original shoe and the RTW version of it. Hope it is useful

I especially like the last that the black captoe and brogues are on.

Will you be increasing the SPI on the welts in final production for the Foster's collection?

I thought I will let you know Fred. I took a few shots today at Fosters. Please find the black cap toe oxford and the brogue below. Both the new refined models
