The Emsworth Double Monk has arrived in dark brown suede on the 337 last.

After the years of success we have had with our Chichester single Monks we thought it was about time to bring a 'double' into the mix!

We would love to hear your thoughts.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Any chance you could/would use the Japanese-exclusive(?) 367 last as shown below on some of your RTW shoes?

It's on the news that the new C&J (HandGrade line) model Audley III on Last 367 has just arrived. I just translated the main points of the article from Japanese.

from MEN's EX Oct Issue (9/06/11 pub)

"Emergency News: The new evolved model of the classic C&J 'Audley', the 'AUDLEY III' has Arrived!"

and here are my translation of the main difference between Audley and the new Audley III, from page 2

From the article, it seems like Audley III is on sale only in Japan. Also available in Chestut. Priced at 76,550 yen ($994 USD)

3 other models in Last 367 is also available there, including an equally alluring BELGRAVE III

Wes Bourne,

Interesting, I'll ask.

We are hoping to produce another model of these spectators which will be the 'replica' model. I will ask though about the broguing holes for this one.

Great to hear that multiple new spectators are on their way! Is there also going to be a replacement for the Holyrood bow pump?

Foster, that's just the answer I was hoping for. I trust you market your RTW range by mentioning unique designs and lasts?

Having just introduced our new Double Monk, we thought it would be a good idea to post a sneak preview of some of the styles we are considering over the next few months. Unfortunately given the early stages of the process we can't give you too many details or close up photos. As always we value your thoughts and suggestions!

Agreed, the black cap toe oxford is brilliant! One of the better looking classic shoes I've seen. I assume those models are from your top line of shoes?

ammanati,

They're not actually, they're from our City line and will be very affordable. I can't give you prices yet as the shoes are still being developed but expect them to be £400 or less. Please bear in mind that they're on our new lasts too.

That really is a great job then. I am impressed. Looking forward to seeing them in person :fonz:

The ones on the far left and second from right have a Lodger-esque look to them, no bad thing as they are a couple of shoes I wear a great deal in fact I am wearing the derby ones now.

I love the spectators.  Will they be available in UK 5.0?

culverwood,

Very interesting indeed! The shoes second from right are going back to be re-made as we speak, they need to more closely resemble the bespoke sample that we based them on.

NickCarraway,

We've now asked for this to be done. Many thanks for the heads up.
