Foster & Son/Henry Maxwell: Official Affiliate Thread - Page 59

Just wanted everyone to know what a great experience I had visiting with the traveling Fosters in NYC.  If you get a chance go and visit them on their cross country road trip.  Luckily enough, I am the same size as Andrew and the single side lace prototype they brought.  He was gracious enough to let me try on his Chelsea boots and side laces, which unfortunately for my wallet fit perfectly.  I can see a future with me purchasing a pair of boots and possibly even the new side laces, which looked spectacular.  Any word on that Christmas in July Sale! :bigstar:

I generally don't go for the burnished/antique look on shoes but seeing the side laces at the trunk show made a believer out of me.  The one show they had was beautiful, and it was my size so I tried it on, and let's just say it's lucky they didn't bring 2 of them!!

Justin is correct that pictures just can't capture the look of the shoes.  I am going to have to pay more attention in the future to shoes with this work.  Make an attractive option, and possibly even gives me the option to be a little rebellious at any black tie functions instead of wearing the sky blue tux. :bigstar:

To coincide with the final days of our Trunk Show to the USA. Foster & Son took part in an event held in the Smog Shoppe in Los Angeles.

The event was hosted by Visit Britain and Angeleno magazine to promote the best of British luxury brands.

Foster & Son and had the opportunity to meet some great people and raise the awareness of the brand in the USA alongside other classic brands such as Floris, Aston Martin and Liberty.

Andrew Murphy and George Wakeford who were representing Foster & Son thought the event was a real success and extremely well put together.

Gentlemen,

After a momentary pause in communications, we are pleased to introduce the latest shoe to our collection.

The Emsworth Double Monk has arrived in dark brown suede on the 337 last.

After the years of success we have had with our Chichester single Monks we thought it was about time to bring a 'double' into the mix!

We would love to hear your thoughts.

I really like the choice of brass buckle!

I can't tell too well from the pic..but it looks like the heel could be a little taller. correct me if i'm mistaken.
