FYI that is an excellent price for the boot. The combination is great and the all blind eyelets will avoid any snagging with cuffs.

If your client likes the boot pattern, a shaft with a lighter suede and fading on the toes would look amazing to me (and not too costumey).

DpprDr,

It's a very good choice and the fading is available on this boot. I'll put it to him.

He will be wearing a grey POW check DB suit with 1 1/2 inch turn ups and wants to know what shoes will go best.

For the Revival Meeting I would suggest a pair of dark Oxblood brogues in the style of your Sandringham perhaps with a double sole.

Winners!

Guys,

I couldn't decide who's entry was best so put it to our chap who's decided that the best shoe/boot would be the Montrose balmoral boot which, I think, makes DpprDr the winner of the shoe/boot element of the competition. The winner, by a short nose, of the caption competition is beaur for steering just the right side of smut.

Well done gents, there'll be another competition in the next few days.

Foster & Son at sale time

We thought that you might be interested in some photographs of our shop at sale time. The shop is pretty crammed with sale items (catalogue is at  http://foster.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/Catalogue-Christmas-Final-2013.pdf), it really does take over.

This would be a dangerous store for me to walk into.

Ahhh, the EG spectators are still there... What are the boots on the bottom right of the picture? I'm sure there are more EG's there but I don't think there are any of the 88 left in 6.5E...
