It's you I guess; do you know why e.g. cuff and collar attachements have to be done differently than long seams that are under constant tension [if handsewn]?
Personally I have not yet noticed a difference with well handsewn shirts vs machine sewn shirts as far as longevivety is concerned, the discussion is obsolete anyway as it's an afficonado gimmick (as long as it holds up well) that has nothing to do with quality within the overall concept of a shirt (other than maximum comfort on a well cut bespoke shirt or the quality of the shirt fabric).
