horton great shirts. I like the last three you posted a great deal. Were you pleased on how the email/phone order turned out relative to your previous order?

Many of these are ok for business. There are two turquoise ginghams (one self, one white collar) that work well with my conservative grey flannel suits.
The white is a VERY heavy oxford, I also got it made into a buttondown with no lining in the collar.
The contrast collar seersucker was an experiment. The fabric was beautiful and my tailor refused to make me a suit in it. He said something about having to keep a reputation. fool, so I took it to my shirtmaker. He has now become more.... accommodating.
There are a few white and blue or blue and white or blue. Getting pretty tired of those standards now.

This one works remarkably well with my fawn suits and the dull blue grey tie.

If I get pics while I am wearing them, you will see that these are no where as loud once you put them on (with one or two exceptions)

I haven't tried on the last 3 yet so I can't yet comment on how well they incorporated some real minor tweaks on fit.

For the other aspects of ordering it was great. At their shop there are a dizzying number of fabrics. For the email order I gave some general description of what I was interested in and they sent me 20 or so potential candidates all of which were very nice and making my job of selecting much easier.

I like the little cardboard bow-ties the Italian laundry uses:

Can you please tell us a bit more about Il Portone shirts. Are they bespoke, MTM etc.?

I quickly folded the one on the right after taking it off the hanger. oops!

yes, that's the same shirt in size 15 1/2, bought from kanvas clothiers. I really like this one, i call it my "Wall Street" shirt. great cotton, nice feel to it, looks great with my navy pinstriped suit or solid navy suit. Just gotta con Saks in Scottsdale into shortening the sleeves a little for me, they did a great job on the other one.
