Why did you choose double-button collars?

sweet! the new shirt arrived today, a perfect blue medium spread collar with button cuffs instead of french cuffs like all my others:

Had to try it for fit, and DAMN it has a killer collar with NO tie space whatsoever at the top, just like I likes it....

That is a nice looking collar.

At first I thought they were cool.

Now I think they're just a hassle.

Next shirts will probably be one-button collars, same height though.

Cant--
I know what you mean, my tuxedo shirt has a double button collar-- and to make it even more of a challenge, both buttons are double-thick borrelli hockey pucks....not an easy task!

ok, I unpacked a box of shirts that I stuck away almost 5 years ago, I have lost enough weight so that I needed to et rid of the shirts I was wearing and I can go back to these.

Where can you get Finamore besides Shop the Finest? I don't seem to come across them.

Vacca sells them. Buttondown on Sac St. in San Francisco usually has a couple. They have a boutique in Naples, perhaps they would ship to you.

I like it at the time. now I have gotten slightly more expensive tastes. I would say that the fabric is about as good as a lands end shirt, maybe a little better.
