Folded Up Shirt P0rn - Page 250

Some elements of the styling wouldn't be my preference (contrast lining, triple cuff buttons, and spread collar w/ that pattern), but it does again show the lengths they'll go to please a customer.

Maybe we could get a couple shots of shirts more on the sedate side.

The world is made of unique people and they have unique choices. I cannot help but appreciate.

Monti's Prince Rose Collection. Beautiful fabric.

This fabric is certified Made in Italy.

I think your post is misleading and is in poor taste.

why would they ship goods from italy, when the state of the art mill in India turns out the same product?
the same product made in italy would cost close to $5. more per meter.
I don't mean to be rude or mislead, but Monti has been doing this for years.
the indian product is just as nice as the Italian.

Years ago, when Brembana was partnered with Morarjee. the indian goods were shipped to italy and sold as italian with no value added.

Why would they do it?: Simple. The demand for European made products is high and people are willing to pay a premium for them.

For our collection, we worked hard at getting exclusively European made fabrics, not so much for the premium, but to be sure that we are offering our clients quality they can rely on.

People today buy Luxire shirts with the confidence that would get excellent fabric and workmanship. We could not have guaranteed that without being particular about our sources for raw materials and our internal testing processes.

I would love it if we could get fewer Real Shirtmakers of StyleForum-type shit-talking posts in this here threak. Shirtmaven, if you want to haze Luxire, please create your own threak for it. At a minimum, if you have specific questions/concerns/suspicions about their product, raise them in their affiliate thread. In short:

MOAR SHIRT PR0N, LESS SHIT-TALKING.

A very modest contribution cross-posted from the recent purchases thread. The white shirt is Borrelli, the blue one is Corneliani

+1. Though I do advocate a hazing period for all new affiliates and members. SF needs more pledges and less free-riders.

So when does our hazing period end satisfied.gif ?

I advocate every post on this thread, including the hazing ones be accompanied with some shirt p0rn eye candy.

This thread is 90% shilling now. Can we simply ban the makers (affiliates or not) from showing/advertising their products in the pr0n threads? yes?

this is like watching network TV and skipping the content to get only the commercials... ffffuuuu.gif

from what i have seen in photos, the workman ship and finishing of the Luxire shirts is excellent.
the collars have life to them.

I have questioned the design choices of some customer's shirts not the execution of the shirts.

The snarky comment about Monti is industry knowledge.
the Monti agent is located in my office building.
from a business perspective. it does not make sense to ship italian fabric to india and asia, when it is less expensive to ship comparable fabric from India.
All of the manufacturers want sharp pricing.

I apologize to the gentleman from Luxire.
I did not mean to disparage your reputation.

Thank you Carl.

There is nothing personal here and there is certainly no apology needed.

Going forward, I am thinking of leaving the thread alone and would only post qualifying images. Will let the shirts talk.

To take gdl's point further, I think you should look into having all of your posts in this thread deleted. This is a thread for shirt customers to display and discuss their recent purchases, not for vendors to hawk their goods.
