The fabric is White Blue Pinstripes. I think pinstripes would describe it the best. Someone may call it hairline as well.

Cesare Attolini shirts. Sorry, but only two of the shirts are perfectly folded. I forgot to take photos of the other four being unwrapping them. I ending up taking a quick photo of them anyways so I could share.

Fun shirt to make...and wear, I guess.

I'm not defending the Luxire client's choice, but Carl's ugly shirt gets a hearty "bravo!", while the Luxire is disparaged?

I am not saying it is a poorly executed shirt,
Just whomever ordered that shirt is late to the party.
where is the shirt I posted, is a party unto itself.

Carl's client's shirt is a big FU that I'm assuming will be worn by someone that calls their own shots, it's so over the top awful that its great. The Luxire client's shirt style looks like what you would find at Prato Menswear in NYC.

Carl, please stop sending me inappropriate text messages.

AWESOME - Love these. STF?

Grammation makes a good point, though. Both shirts are bad style choices for today, but you make what the client wants, naturally.

Carl's shirt = Big shot
Luxire's shirt = Salary slave who was probably once an extra on Night at the Roxbury

Right. Makes perfect sense. sarcasm.gif

I have immense respect and regards for Carl. Hence being compared to him, or my shirt compared to his, is an honor.

As for my client's choice, I defend it wholeheartedly.

Dude, it's not that serious, it's just clothes. Who cares what I or anyone think about either shirt? Everything doesn't have to be a referendum on what is or isn't SF groupthink or which is the cool kids lunch table.

I have no idea to what you refer to as the 'cool kids table'. Simply pointing out the incongruity of your post.

That's the point. What the client wants is is all that counts to the maker.
