Agreed on the right side. Sea island cotton is tits. The front left is a casual shirt designed to look like a black label shirt I saw on a movie. The one behind it looks great on me, especially with a suit.

Are there other interesting ways to sew on four hole buttons to a shirt other than in X-stich and those two below?

We did a Z stitch for a customer as it matched with his initials. They looked neat too.

 

Once shanked,  the minor lopsidedness of the Z disappears.
