Im not convinced, Fritzl... I remember some Arrow shirts with that feature, and it looked 'weder Fisch noch Schnitzel".

no worries. i dunno what arrow shirts are...

understood, it is a personal preference. i like the fact, i can choose. i also know of people, who build the french cuffs of their favourite shirts back instead of having them repaired...

Arrow is a shirt brand. (American?) Famous (to me) for their poly blends.

You mean they make single cuffs from their worn-out double cuffs?

Me too.

For (semi)formal shirts I presently prefer the look of a single cuff to a double cuff (with links, no buttons).

I'm completely with you on this. And as I move toward retirement -- and a more casual lifestyle -- I'm thinking more and more single cuff ... particularly the rounded version you have selected. Very nice.
