I don't know about him but I have a problem. I buy MTM or custom OCBD shirts.

Both are unfused in collar and cuff and have beautiful mop buttons.

Did you make a special request for the collar and cuff to be unfused? I'm about to place an order at MyTailor.

Thanks for explaining that. I wonder if it was caused by compression during shipping and will bounce back.

Not as well-fitting as this shirt. I have a similar one that's very blousy. It's long been due for replacement.
There have been discussions here and on the LL, I believe, about the purpose of custom/mtm. One camp thinks it's for unusual items, and another thinks it's for normal stuff done unusually well. I tend to fall in the second camp, since I prefer simple things.

I think it's F73957. It seems a little lighter in color and heavier in weight than the swatch I saw, but I'm happy w/ it in any case.

I did.

the band on the "Bias Cut" shirts is being pulled over by the leaf of the collar.
this is due to the fused collar band and how the collar is attached.
almost all collars are constructed this way.

Thanks. I'm assuming you get their larger MOP buttons too? Those are what really tipped the balance for me. They are incredible.

^I think so, Fritzl. David, I got the thick buttons in medium width.

Here they are in action. The first thing is what i'm wearing today. The second, I'll be wearing in a month...

Many thanks Carl - I think I understand (and can see the difference with Emptym's shirts from Joe above).

To be fair to Biased Cut, that picture was taken right after I unpacked the shirts, and they were sent in a soft package that had been crushed flat in shipping.

i am sorry to tell you that no matter how much pressing you do to those shirts, they will never sit like some of the others posted in this thread.
I am not saying these are not good shirts,
Just that the method of construction prevents the look that most of the posters are trying to acheive

Is the white one a standard collar that they offer or did you make a special request for shape or sizing?

I'm interested, can you elaborate further?
