Regardless, beautiful shirt Whnay.

I've enjoyed this thread for quite a while and always wanted to post because I think I have some decent contributions. New with the camera, though, so forgive the photos. Any advice or comments regarding taking clothing shots are very welcome. I don't think the photos do the shirts justice.

Thanks

the photos are good. the shirts are great, too. just make sure you use as much natural light as you can!

Thanks Anon.
I'll keep that in mind and do some experimenting. The first shots I took caught the details of the shirts nicely, but they were too heavy to upload.
Anyway, I'll keep trying.

Never had a real reason to post in this forum until now. Just received all these from Carl at CEGO. The left three are linen and the last one is a subtle pique cotton. The safari shirt is for a trip to South Africa.

Nice, Slewfoot!
I like the brown glenplaid and the white twill the best.

This was a great idea. After all, if the animals are laughing you can sneak up on them and take pictures.

Did you get the safari shirt in white instead of khaki because you plan to wear it to the office after your trip?

thanks for posting the photos.

the safari shirt is off white linen.
far right white shirt is a fineline pique for his wedding

tan plaid is 100% linen from Albini.

don't remember where the blue linen plaid came from.

kngrimm, those shirts look great-- especially the collar shapes, looks like they will have no "tie space" when worn, forming perfect inverted "V". Awesome.

Jmark, I'm trying to guess the chick from your avatar but can't-- who is she?

Truly amazing work...

The last picture is an abridged version of my shirts: only Freddy V.
