I really like the colors, patterns, and collars on HF shirts. Not too keen on the fit and construction, but if they fit you, I think they can be a great value. They turn up at Filene's Basement on deep discount all the time.

Not entirely thrilled with the pattern matching on the striped shirt, but can't say it bothers me too much. I still have an extra length of the light blue linen/cotton if anyone wants it.

Chorse, those are pure linen? Damn, I wish I had gotten that stripe.

Linen/cotton, or at least that's what they said. I think the stripe may be pure linen but the guy at Tip Top insisted.

This light blue is giving me a dangerous appreciation for solid shirts.

I picked up an older HF shirt that was just a balloon on me. The shoulder width was huge. I really liked the shirt fabric, but ended up selling it. Perhaps the newer ones have a better cut.

I'll soon see and let everyone know. I bought a HF shirt from the store in San Francisco last month and it fits pretty well, I might take it to my tailor for a little tweaking. I really like the colors and fabrics of the 4-pack I got from Bluefly, but as Chorse123 mentioned, the construction isn't the very best. I opened one last night and upon closer inspection, there are lots of loose threads around the buttonholes, I had to do some judicious snipping with a razor to trim them off. Otherwise, it seems pretty sturdy, especially around the shoulders and body seams.

I'm going to wash the first one a few times to see if there's much shrinkage. The collar is about 1/8" too big, but if it snugs up just a bit, it should fit fine. In any case, I'll post some pics in the next few days once it's been through a few washes.

Some Harvie & Hudson shirts I recieved a few weeks ago. I I like the fabrics but am not too impressed by the collar/cuffs or the fit (didn't expect them to be slim-fit of course, but the fit on these was very generous).
