I only cast a single vote. I thought a certain knee length sport coat deserved at least some love.(Ok, I guess it is actually a thigh length "sport coat", but it really was the side entry pockets that did it for me.)

So everyone really likes Claghorn's outfit that much? I know we have VERY different styles and while I do think it's nice look, I just don't think it is anywhere near second place nice.

You know what this challenge needed? Some oldog/oldtrix. Looks like he hasn't posted since July, though. Hope he's alright...

I was just thinking the same thing. I always appreciated his style and attitude.

Dunno. I've never really thought I had much of a style in general. Just very safe. It would be cool if I did possess an at least nebulously definable style.

I do think a rougher blue striped shirt would have worked better though, but that's probably more about execution than style.

His clothes fits him, the color scheme is standard, but there's a good deal of contrast between each piece (which many fail to even understand how important this is), and the styling is pleasantly modern while being classic. In my opinion, it even deserved more.

Clags does generally dress "safely." And he gets a lot of appreciation for his fits. Something people should take note of.

KISS is usually the best formula for consistently looking good.

Not say complex is worse than simple, but its much easier to screw up. Likelihood for fail is exponentially higher. Even for experts.

I still voted for Spoo tho. Crushed it.

All true. I am surprised there haven't been more votes for Coxsackie though... his fit was a great example of the opposite - how to do louche.

I gave a lot of votes in this challenge, I think that 90% of the contestants have a very nice fitting DB jacket/suit.

I gave you one vote, Mr. Claymore. smile.gif

Yeah, the quality of the pics is infinitely more important than the actual outfit. Good quality pics make everything look so much better.

It wasn't hard to see the quality of EFV's fit even though his pics weren't as slick as some.

Agreed, it was more of a general comment.
