HandBlockedancientMadder3.JPG 192k .JPG file HandBlockedAncientMadder2.JPG 191k .JPG file Thank you Gianni. I love my vintage (hand blocked printed in 1950) silk ancient madder. The seven folds in just two pieces of silk is exquisite. Photos do not do this work of art justice. I will be placing more orders in the future. HandBlockedAncientMadder.JPG 218k .JPG file

I'm about to order a couple ties from Gianni, and I'm a little concerned about the unlined ties producing too small of a knot. As a result, I'm thinking of asking for a relatively consistent 4 cm tail (with overall "wedge" shape to the tie), as opposed to--for lack of a better term--an hourglass shape, or bottle shape, to the tie that would result in a narrow center with which I'd tie the knot. I've seen these shapes on only a few RTW ties, and I don't know what Gianni's default shape is.

Gianni, while your English is far better than my Italian, I'm not sure how to ask for this feature with clarity, but if you understand what I'm asking for, great.

As well, I ask those of you who have purchased a PC tie--if you didn't specify the tail shape, how was it made, and what's your experience with the knots? Perhaps one of you could post a pic or two of your PC ties laid out flat?

Thanks in advance.

Thank you so much for your lovely message. In this case I want to reassure you.

MANY PEOPLE THINK THAT WHEN THE TIE THE KNOT is UNLINED AND 'LITTLE. BUT THIS IS NOT TRUE TO 100%. WHAT COUNTS IS THE ONE THAT PUT LIVE UP TO WHERE THE TIE ties.

THE SIZE OF THE KNOT is DALL'INTERLINING DATE THAT I PUT. AND ALSO THE MINIMUM WIDTH OF THE REAR TAIL.

So doing only bespoke can I do with an unlined tie interlining pesane for a large node. And at the same time I can use a normal intelining medium for a node. And as a result I have a small knot when the tie will be intelining without or with a slight interlinining.

Got it now?

However, I'll show you a series of images with interlining normal. So can you tell me if that's okay. If you are those who see little knots we can still use a heavier intelining and get the desired effect.

And here is a before picture of a friend of ours customer with a neck tie our bespoke. And this tie has an interline normal. And at the end of the tail small measure about 4 cm.

And here you have another tie to another friend of ours customer. This is always an unlined tie the knot and as you can see is normal. This shows that the node does not tie interlining unlined but that I insert.

And here's another one of our bespoke vintage ties just finished. It is negotiable to a 7 ancient folds in ONLY ONE PIECE OF SILK. The entire interior and all without hemmed by hand like 100 years ago. This I call the Rolls Royce of all ties.
