No bulk cycles. I concentrated on cardio, kept my calories low, and like the OP, I didn't get results. My point is, if your not getting weight loss results, more cardio and fewer caloiries may not be the best way to breach the plateau.

Just not adding up for me.. everytime someone I kno asks me about this I always say..
you dont see any fat ethiopians do ya? Its not rocket science..
calories in (food and drink) - calories out (waste) - calories used (heat/exercise) = net gain/loss

If yer stayin put, yer at balance. Cut your intake slowly and avoid fats, sweets, and processed foods and stick with fruits and vegetables. A secret is you dont have to exercise like a madman. Diet and exercise in moderation.. any sudden swings in over exercise or dieting causes the body to compensate with strong craving swings which most cannot resist.
It doesnt work for most because most dont have the discipline and end up splurging every other day on cheesecake etc.
I'm 5'10 160lbs w/washboard abs muscular surfer build. I've swung to 180+lbs before but know how to work my weight from my ole days as a wrestler and footballer.
Like all things its mental.. it all comes down to discipline and motivation..

How tall are you? if you want to slim your pecs and torso, I found freestyle swimming to do the trick better than running. Are you taking any medications that might have weight gain as a side effect or effect hormone levels? Do a colon cleanse, you will seriously lose 5-15 lbs prolly. Also, cut out all food with refined sugars, especially high fructose corn syrup, which is in EVERYTHING almost.

you want to slim down but your lifting? just cut all that crap and then run a timed mile and then after you just killed your self running that mile go do sprints and then run hills. All the while you should feel like complete and utter shit and want to give up every second of that workout. Then youll know your losing weight.
