Salsa and Tango music.. recommend please

Can anyone recommend some newage salsa and tango music to download? I've been looking around my usual sites but can't really find much. If anyone could recommend some artists to check out, that would be great.

For "newage" tango, you should check out Bajofondo Tango Club, Gotan Project, Tanghetto, or Carlos Libedinsky. They're all electronica-club-tango blends.

For the latest in Salsa

Get "Salsaton - Salsa con Reggaeton" by Andy Montañez , legendary salsa singer of "El Gran Combo" mixed with the latest Reggaeton ( Latin HipHop ) Artists. It is great salsa with modern beats and very energetic and aggresive... I love to dance it with hot girls.



A younger choice in the same style is "I Love Salsa" by N'Klabe with Julio Voltio, also Salsa and Regaetton but by this Salsa "Boy's Band" ( See the name choice as a N'Sync Latin version ) But It is very cool... and Julio Voltio is a great HipHop Singer from Portorro



Finally Victor Manuelle has been doing also Salsaton with Don Omar ( "Nunca habia llorado Asi" in their last record Unanime ) and with Hector y Tito ( "Ay Amor"

I'm not sure what you mean by "newage" anything, and I know nothing about salsa, but here are my recommendations for tango:

Gotan Project for the very new
Astor Piazolla -- Tango Zero Hour (or virtually any other)
Yo Yo Ma -- Soul of the Tango (which is all Piazolla)

Props to you for the Carlos Libedinsky suggestion. I had been looking for a particular song by him forever, and I couldn't remember his name till I came across this thread.


Anyone going to the Gotan Project concert next weekin NYC? I am pretty f'in excited.
