I have heard it before, but I was supposed to keep schtum until the official announcement:had come out:

From today's G&G newsletter
Quote:
For a great ending to 2013, we will be celebrating the launch of our first flagship store in Mayfair London, as well as moving our manufacturing plant to great new premises, in Kettering Northamptonshire.

We would also like to mention, we have added new member to our team, called Thomas Brunschwig, who has a lot of shoe knowledge, and is now is manning our existing London showroom at # 12 Savile Row London, SW1 3PQ if you would like to pop along and see the latest G&G creations,

Thomas will be willing to help with any of your questions or requests, the showroom is open, from Tuesday - Saturday 10am – 6.30pm.

Monday’s and Bespoke consultations, are still By appointment only, contact tony@gazianogirling.com or dean@gazianogirling.com
We look forward to hearing from you, and possibly seeing you at our new London Store, Address will be revealed in our next newsletter.

They also have employed a full-time sales person for the current showroom within Chittleborough & Morgan. Presumably that chap will move to the new store. (Venue of the store hasn't been announced yet, but from what I heard, it won't be 100 miles away from Savile Row.

According to Simon Crompton's blog, G&G has employed another chap, Thomas Kalflo, the maitre patineur fom Corthay
Quote:
And I add this shot of Thomas (Kalflo) in order to be able to note that he has just moved from Corthay to Gaziano & Girling.

Thomas was first mentioned in these pages last year in a post on Corthay’s first glacage evening (that’s him, in soft focus behind some dyes). He was both deputy manager at the London store and maitre patineur. Exciting times for G&G, both in terms of shop and patina possibilities.

Interesting development, especially given the current involvement of Bespoke England.

What do you mean? Nick has been wonderful do deal with not just in terms of prices but also shoe knowledge and willingness to go distance for us. Hopefully Nick continues to sell G&G shoes.
