Hi edwardthefirst:

Here's a sample of our thick MoP buttons as a reference, which I think are currently superior to what our other competition is offering. Any thicker though and they would be hard to button up.

We have two varieties right now, plain white MoP, and smoked MoP buttons.

The smoked ones looks beautiful but we always remind people that because they are indeed natural, the shade of grey on each individual button will vary!

Those look pretty dang nice. Indeed, a lot better than many other brands I've seen. Thanks for taking the time to post that!

Thanks! Will try to get some fit pics without the jacket. I'm a bit fat because of my bulking season so the waist is a bit tight, but I considered this shirts for my normal weight.

I received today the shirts I won at the last contest. They are amazing!

First of all, thanks to Chris and Alex, cause we exchangd some emails with the shirt details in order to get them exactly the way I wanted and they service is absolutely fantastic. The time zone is a limitant but they responded to every single mail I sent them, very kind and professional, thanks for that.

As for the shirts, the fabrics are very nice. I asked for the blue oxford that is listed and a plain light blue that Chris sent me via email that they had available. You all will have to excuse me about the pics but I was in a rush cause I had a meeting, but I couldn't resist, I ironed the oxford and wore it to the meeting. Gave me luck cause the deal closed. biggrin.gif

The site is very friendly. You create a profile and the videos of how to take your measurements are very simple and easy to understand. I used the measuring an existing shirt method cause I know my measurements. What I like is that you can get a lot of detail, because for example in the chest area, I have bigger lats than chest so I need my shirt to be longer in the back part but no exceeding the 45", otherwise the fit would be compromised. This feature is stock in their system, they ask you for the full chest but they as you to measure from the back part so it fits perfectly.

When you already select the fabric and start with the customization, the options are a lot. I selected a type of collar but ask them if they could replicate one style of collar that I like, they said yes and I sent them the pic of the collar with the measurements and it came out fantastic!

The workmanship is great to. Buttonholes are really well made, the stitches and all of that is gorgeous. The collar is very soft, I didn't make an special request on the stiffness but it's very soft. I'm not that great at writing reviews buty you should give Moda Republic a try. Thanks again Chris and Alex, and some pics to follow. biggrin.gif

In action.

Hi Alex and Chris!

Been reading through the thread with interest - you seem to produce some really quality stuff, and I love your interaction with the forum members.

I'm fortunate enough to live in Vancouver, and would like to set up an appointment to talk about getting a suit (and some shirts) made for my upcoming wedding. I had an absolutely terrible experience with Indochino and ended up returning the suit, and would like a bit more personal experience, as I need some serious fit advice.

So - what's the process to set up a meeting?

Was this intended for me?

If so thanks, the collar is from a Barba shirt and the tie is from a limited collection that member timotune made. i say limited cause haven't seen any news of new ones but he should keep doing them, it's awesome.

Quick reminder we'll be announcing our winner in a week for shirts, make sure you make your submission now! (Unfortunately if you've won something from us already you won't be eligible)

The questions you need to answer are:

1) We're thinking of adding more shirts, let us know what fabrics you'd like to see more of?

2) What kind of suit fabrics do you guys want to see for our next shoot?

3) Do you guys prefer seeing clothing on models but less fabric choice? Or more choices but using a 3D rendering of the shirts instead of models

1) Chris sent me a few couple of shots of shirt colors taht I was interested in, i think that the ones you have in the site is a small collection, adding all the options available would allow the user to pick the fabric without the need to email for pics.

2) Maybe a few navy fabrics but emmm don't know how to explain, but seems to me that the fabrics displayed are in he darker shade of te colours with a few light ones. Adding some light ones would be nice.

3) More choices using a 3D rendeding.

Second Moda Republic shirt in action.
