MH UK/Europe is not short in length. The Japanese line is made specifically for the Japanese market and is sized and cut to reflect this. General rule of thumb is a Japanese XL is the equivilant of a Large, but as you note the sleeves are cut shorter. I was looking at a shirt on the Japanses site a couple of days ago and based on the measurements a UK Large would be a XXL. Although most of the Japanese collection is made in Japan some of the garments appear to be made in the UK, scarves and Mainline knitwear appear to be made in the UK but I don't know if they change the sizing for knitwear or if it's the same stock as we get in the UK? Some Japanese made garments and accesorries end up on sell here, this T for example: https://www.margarethowell.co.uk/men-aw16/sportswear/mhl-roll-sleeve-tshirt-japanese-cotton-blue MHL sweatshirts were made by Loopwheeler and the bags are made by Yoshida.

Does anyone know if Unionmade has dropped MHL/ Margaret Howell?

I was eyeing the ridiculously expensive linen t-shirt they had and hoping for it to drop in price a little more before pulling the trigger, but the brand seems to have completely vanished from their site now.....

Working Title said their shipment is delayed until October, I'm assuming the same for other NA shops.

There are usually 2 drops to the season. First drop is at end of August. Margaret Howell still don't have eveything instore or online from this collection. It's possible that they won't ship to UM until all of the order can be fuliffiled.

is it plausible that UM removed their stock and took the brand off the designers list (online) because they haven't received their new season product?

It's definitely possible. Have you emailed/called them? I can't think of any retailers where I've seen new season stuff actually.

Been eyeing this tweed jacket, it's a Japan XL but the measurements look closer to a regular M than L, the p2p should be closer to 57/58 than 53. Did the seller just measure wrong or is a Japanese XL a British M?

Go by the measurements.

I'd work on the assumption the measurements are correct. Japanse sizing isn't any more consistent than UK/US sizing. I'm a 43" chest so typically a generous US Large but normally a UK XL and had to go for a Japanese XXXL in a Beams jacket.

Neighbour started carrying MH, tiny selection and guessing most of it won't sell because of the prices, but at least it's another NA shop.

Do you guys know if the sleeves of the jackets can be lengthened/let out if they're too short? I'm guessing yes? Probably kopping the tweed jacket and going to a tailor if it's too slim. Though I'd really prefer the jacket to fit oversized like intended and not just regular.

Digging the cardigan.

Got this brown mix saddle crew neck knit.

Super soft cashmere/merino mix. Fit is good, nothing weird about it. High quality feel all around.

Her saddle necks are classic, love them.

Personally I prefer her heavier knitwear. That said her saddle necks do have a nice hand to them.
