MARGARET HOWELL Fall/Winter 2013 - Page 12

My impression of the saddle is that it's sort of boring save for the saddle neck, but the fabric is deceptively nice, especially after a little wear. It's definitely the warmest knit I have.

It's just a classic style, boring? Yes!

I recently purchased the Spring Summer version which is a mix of cashmere and cotton, but I'm not sure if I would do again. It's sort of to warm for wearing in summer, and doesn't provide enough warmth in winter. I also find it doesn't wear as well the wool/cashmere winter version, although it washes up well. Always buy these at sale because they are always repeated.

Margaret Howell Red Guernsey from AW12. This is my fave and is merino/cashmere mix.

That's a Japanese small so it probably fits more like an XS.
