Thanks for all your work on this. Probably will sit this one out (just found a grail shoe and blew a chunk). Curious as to whether the shade of whiskey matches the swatch in the shop.

From reading the past posts in this thread it looks like it is GBP 600 including VAT, which I assume is GBP 500 with VAT excluded plus shipping, which puts it in the region of US $775 to $850 assuming no duties or taxes.

You are correct. For non-EU this would come to £480 ($771) + shipping.

hehe, that might be true. I bought a pair of C&J Islay in burgundy cordovan last season, so there's other spots in the shoe wardrobe, rather than cordovan boots I need to buy at the moment hehe.

You can get the C&J Islay in cordovan? From where did you obtain it and how much did that run you? Love the Islay but wanted it in cordovan and didn't see where I could get it in that.

Thanks for your efforts on this! Sounds awesome! IS there any chance we could get a picture of the hide? or at least a larger picture? It would be great to get a bit more accurate sense of the color. If this is not possible I completely understand...

C&J whiskey is darker than Alden whiskey.I posted pics of unlined c&J loafer and they look like a light ravello

Namor, how would you compare to the color against Trickers Teck cordovan? I have that Allan boot MTO in place and just want to ensure they do not look too similar in color

I have potential interest in Harlech, whiskey, storm welt, double leather soles.

My concern is the 341 last. Can anyone tell me what my size would likely be given my sizing in my other shoes?

1. Alden Indy trubalance - 13D US (fits very comfortably)

2. Alden Jcrew Captoe Barrie last - 13D US (fits a little snug in the width but not bad)

3. Alden Jcrew Snuff Chukka Barrie last 13D US (fits a bit snug but not bad)

4. C&J Skye 335 last - 13E UK (fits very comfortably)

5. C&J Ralph Lauren Marlow 13D US - Fit very tight and pinched my toes a bit

6. C&J Ralph Lauren Lindrick 13D US - Fit tight and pinched toes a bit

6. Ralph Lauren Gianni 13D US - Fit comfortably

Any suggestions? Would I be a 13.5E in 341?

Also, from what I read it seems we need to all specify the same width but we can specify different sizes? I see some people referencing their 341 last sizes with an E width. What width would this be?

Thanks!

In as long as it's whiskey harlech, and will size this weekend.

Preference is for a leather or double leather. Will do rubber soles as long as it's a low profile variation.

I'm curious hoit, is there a limit currently to what they can make?

Interested but variations of color, especially lighter ones, are tricky. I think wingtips hides the variations better than cap toes (which is like putting two leather pieces together as comparison). I will think about this but may see if others are interested in a whiskey wingtip boot later down the line.

Good luck with the MTO!

Any chance of getting them to ship via royal mail/parcel force to avoid US duty?

I have emailed Lauren for a photo of a C&J whiskey boot / shoe. I am awaiting a response.

Limits are minimum of 6, maximum of 12 orders.

Reference to E width is for the UK sizing. UK E = US D.

It would be best to try on the 341 last. If that isn't possible I am a similar size to you (slightly smaller). My feet fit the following...

Alden Barrie 12.5D
Alden Leydon 13E
C&J Marlow Wingtip 13D (US Sizing)
C&J 341 12E (UK Sizing)
