Boot lovers, as you might have seen I'm trying to drum up some interest for a GMTO of a brogue boot (topic: http://www.styleforum.net/t/379626/gmto-the-perfect-brogue-boot-in-tan#post_6919913)
We're half way there now, but I'm a bit surprised that not more people have joined in, given the quite conservative specs (but maybe that's what's wrong with it). However, after seeing your very appetizing photos of the Whiskey shell Harlech, I thought the model might attract more attention if I proposed it in whiskey shell as opposed to regular edwardian – your thoughts on this?
I also thought about discarding the EG Alderley, and go with a Skye in tan/whiskey shell, single sole, regular welt, but what really made me settle on the EG Alderley (among other things) was the design of the heel:
