I'm fairly flexible . . . Probably the only deal breaker for me would be dainite (mostly because I have tan Pembrokes with dainite soles and may still get dark brown grain ones too, and prefer to reserve dainite for these type of rougher, country shoes).

6 weeks (4 months) to ship

For EU members (Including VAT) - £590

For non-EU members (Excluding VAT) - £491.68  / $607 USD

Only one detail to be ironed out for those interested, Lauren said no wheeling is possible for a double leather sole. Not sure if this would even be noticeable, doesnt seem to make a difference in the below photo of the Warlow GMTO, but I can inquire further re single leather sole or dainite if wheeling can be done and the consensus is that people want it.

Thank you for leading this.

It's interesting that they can put wheeling on the RL Marlow double leather sole but not this. Other than that she said everything else would be identical?

I would prefer double sole, then single with wheeling, then dainite in that order.

Can you clarify 6 weeks (4 months)? Also do we pay upfront and get current exchange rate or wait until before shipping?

Yes, dainite doesn't fit on a shoe like this, agreed.

Waiting to hear back from Lauren

It will likely be

Double leather no wheeling

vs

Single leather with wheeling

Which could throw off the balance of the shoe. Probably just end up doing Double leather no wheeling. I dont really understand why C&J cant wheel a storm welt.

I have emailed her about the wheeling, because to me it is also a bit odd that the Marlow is still wheeled, and looking at their website the longwing blucher in cordovan is double leather with storm welt and is wheeled as well.

Payment is upfront to lock in the good exchange rate. I believe there is a 20 or 30 pound shipping charge as well.

Sorry for the typo... 16 weeks (4 months) to ship date after payment.

Yes, 30 GBP for shipping so this should put it around $645. That's a great price and nice to lock in that rate. I wonder if they consider the RL Marlow something other than a double sole? It does seem a bit thicker.

Also on the GMTO we still get the green box and shoe bags?

Yea dainite would be a deal breaker, already have the swanseas.

Just got charged -- less than $650. #winning

Is this list for another Warlow? If so, you can toss my name into the ring.

This is for a brown shell Marlow. A Barlow, as it were.

I may be interested in the Barlow wingtip. However, since I already have the Lindrick coming for fall and winter, I think I'd prefer a single leather sole with flat welt and wheeling. Anyone up for those specs?

Also, would anyone be interested in joining a run for the Marlow plain toe, also in brown shell? Basically the RL Marlow PTB but for 40% off.

I am in for a Barlow; please add me to list

I'd be up for the plain toe, esp if on Dainite.  Would be up for the wingtip, but I think the Dainite ship has sailed on that one.

It's rarely boot weather where I am... looking for a weekend shoe that I can chase kids around the park in.  Sometimes, even chukkas are too tall.

Edit: Would you consider the Ashdown in brown, rather than the Grasmere (which, IIRC, the Marlow PTB is)?  It's on the 341 rather than the 325 and just looks more "sleek..." (C) @peppercorn78 :slayer:

I would actually only want the PTB on double leather with storm welt.
