Can they/will they do veldtschoen with shell?  I feel like this question came up a long time ago but I just don't remember the answer.  In any event, good luck with it.

We still have to decide between Brass and Gunmetal hardware. Most people are indifferent but we have two specific votes for each, so I take it that these are hard preferences.

I've asked Lauren about the extra broguing. She will also get back to me about veldtschoen construction and 5 eyelets + 3 speedhooks (instead of 4+4). We can decide on these after I hear from her.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Is the antique edging like that on the recent brown shell Dundee? Or the Warlow? I'd prefer the latter, and just want to be sure I'm voting for the right thing.

Thanks again for your continuing effort in organizing!

The Warlow. The brown shell Dundee has a natural welt and sole edge.

Dammit if this is possible it looks like I'm ordering more shell.  Shucks.

What I sent to Lauren was "the Snowdon with goodyear welting" which is, of course, the Radnor. Followed up clarifying that's what I'm looking for (I don't think shell + veldtschoen would work well at all, far too dangerous and likely to tear.

Warlow 2.0

Just confirmed that wheeling will be included on the Warlow 2.0.

What is Wheeling? I'm not English sorry.

Thanks!

Thanks!

It looks like ribbing they do to the welt. A non-wheeled welt will be flat with no marks, but a wheeled one will have lines/impressions all the way around.

You can see the wheeling on the Marlows Zippy posted.

Thanks I got it.

I hope there is the same finish on the Lindrick. Somebody knows?

The last 2 deliveries of Lindricks don't seem to have it. I am not positive about the previous one on double leather soles but it is hard to tell. Maybe someone on those GMTOs can provide more detail. Paging @BurntPockets @Deusis

welts are usually pre-wheeled so I think they can just pick which welt to use.

I hope the Lindrick has wheeling, this was my assumption when ordering. Maybe Lauren needs to be apprised before the orders get actually placed. The boot need the heaviness of the wheeling.

Maybe Mosy could clarify that with Lauren in the name of us (if everybody is ok with that finish of course)?

Agreed.. Was happy to see Warlow 2.0 has wheeling. Wonder if the stitching was mellowed down on that one. Mosey was going to look into this but I never heard a response. Either way, what a good soul to put his time and effort into this. It's not unnoticed.. Prince of a fellow.. and greatly appreciated! Clapping hands..

Only double leather soles support wheeling. My GMTO had rubber soles; they aren't wide enough to support wheeling.
