(Note, I've felt the same way.)

Dude, I totally did not mean to sound snooty or snobbish.  All I was trying to communicate was the fact that I have too many shoes/boots in the same color spectrum thats all.

The Warlow's are very different from anything else I own at this time.

And I am NOT a baller by any stretch.  Honestly, I am in Grad School right now.  My vocation is a very humble one.

Nevertheless, collecting shell cordovan shoes and boots is my hobby and pastime.

Thanks.

Sorry, did not mean to imply you sounded snobbish at all. It just struck me as amusing as to having too many whiskey shell shoes.

Its all good my friend.  I think I have a certain sense of indwelling guilt for having so many whiskey shell kicks....or maybe not.....:)

Funny we should be speaking of this at the moment....your never gonna believe what the nice UPS man just left at my door....

Gentlemen,

All Hail the Warlow:

C&J did a fantastic job on these.  The welt stitch is much more appealing than I thought it would be.

Special thanks to all who participated.

That's beautiful, but the contrast stitching isn't for me. It'll darken over time but if it was me I'd be in there with some light brown cream already. Regardless, congrats!!!

Man cannot wait to get home.

I also received my Warlows today. I can now definitively confirm that 10E UK is equivalent to the Marlow RL 10.5D US. The shoes look great. Not complaining, but I noticed the interior numbering is printed instead of handwritten as appear in the Marlow. I thought the handwritten numbering signified a hand grade class shoe?

Mine got delivered as well along with the Dundee.

Lauren marked them at GBP 60 each so combining shipping makes complete sense.

First cordovan anything for me. Warlow looks amazing. Dundee as well though there's a couple of scratches which I'm trying to ignore.

Dundee and Warlow both at size 8E UK but the Dundee feels a bit big for some reason. A bit confused on that but I think it gives me the option to either wear thicker socks or it'll be better after it molds since I have a bit of slippage. Warlow appears to be perfect though so I can assume the incoming Harlech will be as well.

Thanks to our organizers! Now to find excuses to wear them in the near 90 degree weather. Pics when I'm able to play with them for more than 10 minutes.

Question, are the Marlows called Pembroke by C&J? This may have been asked before but I can't recall. I know Polo RL names a number of their shoes Marlow though.

Gentlemen,

Thanks for your compliments.

@kczsilence Lauren informed me that the Pembroke label is due to "Trademark" agreements with RL.  So, hence the Pembroke.

@tocohillsguy Its my understanding that the CJ for RL line are a admixture of hand grade and bench grade.  I cannot make too many discerning judgements yet regarding the comparative quality.

Stunning.

I quite like the light welt stitching. I am in agreement with an earlier comment that it gives the shoe a real 40s/50s retro vibe.

Loving the photos, and can't wait to see more.  I do have to say, though, that I hope very much that the Warlow 2.0 doesn't have the white stitching.  I really don't care for it.  I suppose I could darken it myself if we did end up with it, but I'd worry I'd do a messy job.
