Well, I was going to wait until their arrival to post the definitive pics.  But, since you asked:

This shade of shell cordovan was amongst the first batches of Marlow's C&J made.  This shade is completely unavailable now.

I found a pair BNIB and got them for a fraction of current retail...

So, if we can get the Warlow made, then I will have the Marlow Trilogy going on.  Cigar, Whiskey and Ravello...

Those are beauties. My *guess* is that it's still Cognac shell as the current version is, just a much different shade as it happens

I guess so.

You cannot ever get the shades dialed in properly it seems as they are all over the map.

But, the above example is from the very beginning of the Marlow line.  Basically Ravello.

Yep they remind me of the old pics. Here is one I found from 2009. With a nice whiskey comparison!

Perfect Shade for the Marlow - hard to beat this

I am sure the price quote/favorable exchange tipped members such as myself over the fence. Was part of the inaugural harlech, sold due to bad sizing. Have Marlows in half size too big. Third time is the charm?

Still hoping for the Whiskey Harlech even though the Dark brown Dundee is closer. Although, the Warlow is super enticing. Come on everyone!

Shell...

The only impediment to the warlow is the potential unavailability of the whiskey shell?

No.

Lauren said they had enough to make 12 pair.  We have around 17 interested.  My correspondence was regarding how much shell they had, if they can make more than 12 pair...

As you said before, there may actually have to be 2 separate runs...
