Do we know if this will be in Horween shell, or another maker?

Lastly, can anyone say with absolute certainly how C&J label the RL line of shoes, regarding sizing, compared to the actual last size they're built on?

From what I can recall, the RL line was in D width which is more narrow than their typical UK offerings which are E width.

I am in for the Warlow but need some sizing advice - any Alden aficionados can recommend sizing on the Marlowe? Same as Barrie? If i take a 10D in Barrie, 10UK in Marlowe? Much appreciated.

I would recommend .5 size down from your Barrie size.

That would equal a UK 9.5=US 10.5=10D Barrie

Hope that helps.

Well, hopefully the Lindrick ships soon so I'll have it in my hands and know if I need to change sizes.

@gsgleason

Does that mean you want me to put you down?

For what its worth, I cannot imagine that CJ used UK D width (Narrow) on the Marlow line.  That just does not seem to jive.

I think that they actually went a .5 size down in reality.

So US 10.5 D=UK 10 E

Standard UK width, just .5 size down from normal.

Thanks.

Not until I get my Lindrick to know my sizing for certain.

Perhaps you could inquire? I think simply say you have a lot of Marlow owners and they simply want to order the same size

I most certainly will when we get 12 of us who are serious.

Thanks.

C&J Dark Brown Cordovan Dundee Boot GMTO Update 02/19

OK good sirs, I'm trying to get a definitive sense of who is still interested. It would be great if you could PM me to confirm that you still want to be involved.

There has been some interest in having the medallion removed. I am OK with this personally, but we all need to be OK with it. Please confirm yay/nay to this also. Cheers!

hoit1981 - fine with or without medallion
@zippyh?

@Akeem?
@kczsilence - Prefers no medallion
@DavidLane - Prefers no medallion
@cheesecake?
@schmallo15?
@scuppasteve - fine with or without medallion
kczsilence's friend - Only interested in no medallion
vkab - Have reached out via Reddit and waiting for a response

I think you will save yourself some time and frustration if you first check with C&J if they are willing to make a boot without medallion. C&J can be very strict about what modifications they will accept or not.

I reached out to Lauren earlier today. She said she would look into it.
