The Coniston is a beautiful boot, and of all C and J boots I own (Islay, Skye, Skye 2, Whisky Harlech drool.gif) it has received most compliments, so far.

I am checking some details with Lauren but looking to have Coniston made up in the brown Zug, either individually or as a group MTO?

Will post details soon if anyone interested? nest.gif

I've also tried this, but in dark brown shell. Might be interested in dark brown grain (a la Islay).

Why must you do that after I bought a normal pair of Conistons

Harlech made it to California!

Love the color and very glad we went with no speed hooks and leather soles. Still think the storm welt was unnecessary but just fantastic boots and make up.

Wow you have been on the roll lately. Nice choice, I had sell my pair due to the fit issue.

The never ending game to find the right fit right...?

It's been bad.. thankful for a private office where i can stash some of these or I'd be on a coach somewhere, with a bunch of shoe boxes as pillows

Excuse me but the Sorm Welt makes that boot work with the lighter Whiskey. Plus you'll be damn glad you have it whe El Niño hits this Winter.. Trust me on this. The storm welt will indeed help keep the elements out! Storm welted C&J boots are some of the finest inclement boots out there... Beautiful btw

I would not wear shell boot in any kind of rain. I had a pair of pair of Harlech Whiskey Shell, the very first run we did. I put the through test I wore them in rain. Rain causes shell water sports that are royal pain in arse to clean.
You are right though on storm welt. It does help with waterproofing. It will not keep you feet dry if you stand in the puddle for extended period of time as I did but storm well is better than flat welt against rain.

I save my Whiskey Harlechs for only the rainiest of days... :-)
