Crockett & Jones MTO Central - Page 102

It's always weird when they ask "Soooo I see you have a charge here from one Crockett Jones. Did you authorize a charge by him?"

Also, best to use a CC that doesn't apply foreign transaction fees when travelling abroad or when purchasing from foreign merchants.  I specifically got a card (with no annual fees) that has a chip (for overseas use) and that doesn't charge those fees.  Then I use my other CCs domestically to accumulate points or whatever.

I remember a discussion wether the Giani should have a split toe or not, which was put to sleep since C&J apparently wouldn't to it. But look what I found on eBay:

Processed By eBay with ImageMagick, z1.1.0. ||B2

To be fair, I think they're pretty awesome even though the shaft is not identical to the Giani. But MAN they would look good in coffee suede drool.gif

Saw these yesterday. Look great huh - would love them in a darker grain.

C&J would split-toe the Gianni with a grain leather, just not with cordovan.

Pretty nice version available from Purdey. None left in my size though unfortunately. Liking the 2-tone dark brown grain and nubuck.

Looks like I am late on the train? Shoes sound great.

Gentlemen, for those who have the Marlow penny loafers and tassels do they size the same? I just got the penny's and I'm feeling kind of itchy, shell cordovan itchy that is.

To whiskey Harlech round 2 participants, I've just heard from Lauren that she expects our boots to be delivered towards the end of August. There's a two week summer break in the beginning of August that's largely the cause of this.

Thank you Sir for the update. I was wondering about this yesterday this weekend and dug up my email to see how long it has been. Can't wait for these to arrive!
