Bummer. Now back to our regularly scheduled programing. Look what I found on my left boot, a Horween stamp but the lining is stitched on the tongue so the stamp is obscured. I almost wish that the tongue was not lined.
^ I understand and respect that, and I realize we all have our own unique tastes and preferences that drive what we will and won't spend our money on. I do not question anybody's judgment or knowledge (I will not pretend to know what many members on here do about shoes and leathers), but I am genuinely curious -- is zug really so incredibly, marvelously, wondrously, magically superior to all other leathers for inclement weather? Yeah, I am being a little sarcastic here, but really, is it? If so, WTF is it impossible to get? I wanted the zug but I like this boot design and am convinced a great boot can be made using another leather. I'm hoping 11 others agree.
