^^ That's OK... dddrees is out hunting them now. We'll have plenty of materials in no time!

Ouch.  At least we know.  My money was on them taking another month or three to tell us that.  :cloud:

Bummer. Now back to our regularly scheduled programing. Look what I found on my left boot, a Horween stamp but the lining is stitched on the tongue so the stamp is obscured. I almost wish that the tongue was not lined.

Sorry I don't know what that would be, and I'm pretty sure if I did I wouldn't tell anybody that I knew it.

If that is the case, I'g have herd (flock? gaggle? pride?) of them surrounding my house!

So does this mean that we cannot do the Snowdon in Zug? Or they will accept zug if we send it to them from someone like Horween or AA Crack?

Bump seems appropriate.

I'm out if its not zug...

^ I understand and respect that, and I realize we all have our own unique tastes and preferences that drive what we will and won't spend our money on.  I do not question anybody's judgment or knowledge (I will not pretend to know what many members on here do about shoes and leathers), but I am genuinely curious -- is zug really so incredibly, marvelously, wondrously, magically superior to all other leathers for inclement weather?  Yeah, I am being a little sarcastic here, but really, is it?  If so, WTF is it impossible to get?  I wanted the zug but I like this boot design and am convinced a great boot can be made using another leather.  I'm hoping 11 others agree.
