Hi everyone,

I am reading this thread for quite some time and there are some beautiful pieces shown. I never dared to post any picture, but I thought that the watch I'm wearing today might be of interest to some.
It is a swatch "tourbillon" in limited edition, enjoy,

Adrian

My two watches - sorry, not savvy in how to post the pictures properly.

Next acquisition is a bit vexing for me:

Path 1: evening watch (Vacheron Constantin Patrimony, JLC ultra slim, GO Senator Sixties, or wait a year and go with the F.P.J. Chronometer Souverain)

Path 2: PAM base like the 176

Big difference between the two paths. For those Paneristi that still have other watches in your rotation, how often do you don the big piece, especially at work?

FWIW, I encountered a few problems with the FPJ CS... gorgeous watch with a lovely movement, but looks like reliability issues aren't limited to the Octa family.

Still, I really feel JLC jumped the shark with the new version of this watch. The one Gusvs has is so perfect in proportions, but this new one:

so loud to me by comparison. Does anyone else see this? Or am I becoming an "old" guy who is watching the trend pass him?

I know exactly what you mean.
I was recently checking out the latest JLC Masters and they just don't do it for me like the ones from a while ago.

Shikar - thanks. It's an older incarnation, prior to the Master Control (just plain old Master).

Zip - first, you have a lovely portfolio of watches! Second, I'm really perplexed by JLC's style shift that spreading across the line. They have a few new pieces that are in the classic mold (e.g. Duometer) but more and more I see AMVOX-esque styling which strikes me as... chasing a demographic that feels younger

Wow. Have never heard that. Time to do some more research - thanks for the heads-up, medtech.
