Apologies for the late response, been caught up w stuff.
Prince the pocketwatches were gifted to my uncle and he has given them to me. I have been trying to dig up the history myself however I don't think I will ever find out, the stories died with the owner, which is a real shame.
All I know is they belonged to some Indian statesman named Salar Jung who had a great collection of watches and clocks, some from the reign of Louis XV, Louis XVI, and Napoleon.

Yes that is Waltham, you have a good eye.
If I am able to get a hold of details, I'll let you know.

Late C19th Waltham? Lovely hunting case. Sterling silver I'm guessing.
Nice regulateur. Details if you have them!

Cylon, I haven't had time to take high-res photos, I will get a better shot when I post some vintage Pateks, Rados & Omegas.

Btw if you're interested in the vintage JLC's, let me know, those are for sale.

So Mughal then? Very interesting! I thought some of the writing looked like Farsi/Urdu. Looking forward to seeing the high res pics!

Rolex Air King, c. 1987. Fully serviced/documented, with all original things (even the hang-tags). It was a safe queen for 20+ years. I think it's fantastic. I was afraid it would be too small, but I think it looks great on my 7.5" wrist. Very happy!

Thank you both! The way the dial and bracelet catch and reflect light is not something I have seen with my other watches. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Stitchy, that's a sweet JLC. Timeless classic.
