found this watch at my mother's house

the story is that the watch went through the washing machine and dryer
it no longer works.
any value? can the insides be replaced affordably?
any thoughts?

I second Gnomon Watches... solid quality. Also, TimeFactors seem to be temporarily closed because of "family bereavement".
