How do you guys feel about the AP Royal Oak Chrono? I am fully loaded with vintage Rolex, clean dialed dress watches and the like. I'm ready for some unashamed bling. Thinking of selling a few pedestrian divers and a few seldom user watches to finance this:

At least it's not an ROO? Right?

^ Please consider a plainer dial - blue, black or white.

The fancier dials detract from the iconic but yet clean design of the RO.

Perhaps it just me, but i have always disliked those AP, also Panarai - there is something vulgar about them.

For the price you pay for a AP you can get a nice Omega, IWC, JLC - even Patek if used and lucky

I like the non-chrono RO but have never liked the chronos that much.
I'd go for the full tuna can and get the ROO if I was getting a chrono.

My RO.
