The Watch Appreciation Thread - Page 478

That's a nice Pan that goes well with the shirt you're wearing. Which would appear as interesting as the watch, at least to me.

All the Top Gun jokes that leapt into my head too when I first saw the logo on the back almost stopped me.

But then I thought to myself, "Do not let Tom Cruise ruin something else for you."

And then I had to face the fact that Top Gun is actually a great flick and also an actual fighter pilot program that is the definition of badass.

And then I thought "Are you badass enough to..."

And then I said "Shut up, you moron" to myself and negotiated for the watch.

What brand/model? Looks sharp.

Why so fixated on size? Not sure that the 45-46mm favoured here all day is necessarily the best fit for every body type. I'm 6ft tall myself and don't think I have arms huge enough to prevent the 45-46mm from looking awkward on me

It's a steinhart SAWLE. They're completely sold out now and your best bet is finding them second hand. The closest thing out there now is the leftover stock debaufre has right now.

HAHA. Clearly. I haven't watched that movie since I was a kid, and I refuse to re-watch it so I can be part of the cool bro club that can recite lines from the movie off the top of their head. Perhaps we can also start spouting one liners from Swingers, equally as ghey.

Digging that watch. I initially thought it had the look of a B&R and a hint of Panerai. Love the clean look too. Reminds me of the Sinn U1.

Just because

Went with the classic over the new SubC. Happy with the choice.

Agreed. The new maxi-dial is a little "off" for me.

Congrats.
