bespoken pa, swing by Copenhagen and I'll let you have my 177 for $5.5k :-)

I think Mint with all the accoutrement probably in the range you quoted.

I imagine I'd ask for ~20% less, as I received it w/o box or papers.

I wouldn't say mine is Mint, but it has been worn rather sparingly. I do have all papers and all three boxes. Comes with an extra OP rubber strap (besides the usual rubber + gator).

DLJr, PM me with what you're looking for.

Congrats on the house, and thankfully, you acquired that lovely rg RO before the spending money became tied up in a house.  Wishing you lots of fun on your travels, and hopefully you will return with some travel tips for the rest of us for future trips to Geneva.

Here you go:

Come to think of it, I'm not sure it technically is a "Monster" though it is described as such on the web site. But it sure is a cool and inexpensive sports watch whatever the nickname.

This is absolutely sublime. If I could own one watch only for the rest of my life, this would make an excellent choice.

plan on trying them on. actually not missing my PAM so much. the ToG is bringing me more than enough satisfaction. that swap was good for me.

You're right, not a "Monster" per se, hence the crown/depth rating variance.  But it's much nicer than the newer monster, and cheaper too.  For that price it's almost silly not to own one. :)

Me too.  That and a certain pair of shoes.  *sigh*  Having dug the pictures out for you last night, I've been staring at the damn things all day.

Well a while back I asked opinions on getting a new band for my Basculante. I didn't like the navy strap, I wanted a brown one, and I loved the 20 tapered to 16mm which Cartier didn't make. So I looked at Camille Fournet and ABP but I ended up getting a different band from my Cartier AD. I wonder if it counts as blasphemy?
Just a classic shiny croc with round scales. Pure dress watch and it changes the dial to be more the color of aged paper giving it almost a retro vibe. Couldn't be more in love.

By the by... I happened across a CF strap that's great for a JLC that I could pass along to an interested party for a good deal. Pm if interested.

Blasphemy? Pfft. I mix and match bands all the time. Heck, I have a contemporary Patek strap on a vintage Omega - surely that is far more blasphemous. How about a shot of the flip side?
