Well the chorno function makes it super rare. :smarmy:

I'm afraid Stitch and co beat me to what I was about to say: Vedacrew, please understand that I say this as a man of straitened circumstances; a cheap bum, if you will.  The sheer magnitude of the answer to the question that you have just asked, might take you rather aback.  Wanting to be like Frilly is a noble aspiration in so many ways, but might also make you sad!

On the plus side, there's a load of really awesome watches in this thread.  But there is only one Frilly. :)

Ahaha - and on that note, a better shot of the Patek 3970 in yellow gold. Birthed nowhere else but here in TWAT too several months ago, worn at least once a week since then - no safe queen, this beauty.

Full Frilly attire today. One button peak lapel bespoke suit with hacking pockets. Half break pants looking like triple break because I held my breath too much I think and the pants fell an inch below where it's supposed to sit haha. Quite like the subtle windowpane pattern on the suit fabric, in stripes of blue and brown:

I am in agreement. I appreciate the beauty of his watch immensely and had an incorrect assumption about the price.  There's much to learn.

Thanks for the question and hey, we all have to start from somewhere right.  I learned much of what I know about watches from this very thread - welcome and happy to have you here!

Thanks, stitchy.

I'm going to confess that I am wearing $70 beater shoes I picked up from DSW.  Double monkstraps in "brandy" by that venerable shoe manufacturer Mercanti Fiorentini.  Quite comfortable, honestly.  But also very appropriate given that it's raining and snowing outdoors and I'd much rather save the better shoes for better weather.

But pricing aside, I quite like the shoes!  Side tabs, cheap shoes... so many confessions today!

So you don't consider them a designer brand, but their watches are re-branded as designer brands....

Personally I consider their brand something for kids who buy for trends, looks, etc.  Not meant to offend anyone - just my perception.

I don't consider them a designer brand because they are not re-branded. I don't think the term fashion watch and designer watch are interchangable. At least not to me.

The maker is Fossil and the designer brand slapped on is Michael Kors. Therefore...designer watch.

I agree with your second statement. It's just semantics. Fossil (as far as I know) makes their own watches just like Omega, Rolex, Seiko etc... Obviously I am not saying that they in the same league as above watches. Just stating that they are a watchmaker and not other watches branded as Fossil.

T-T-T-triple post! Fortunately, I can gladly admire your PP three times. I really like that pic that you took of it, it really shows off the sensual curves of the watch (I love dirty talking about watches).

Those shoes look surprisingly good, especially for $70.00. Here, it is around 70 degrees and sunny, so I do not have a problem breaking out the nicer shoes all year smile.gif.
