The Watch Appreciation Thread - Page 1737

From the sublime, back to the ridiculous: I just went to spend a few days with my children, and I've come to like the Orange Monster so much I wore it all the time.  I was also so impressed with the value of the mechanical Seiko that I bought my son a Seiko 5, just because.  He's very happy with it.

Great double wrist shot.  Very nice to see father and son enjoying the watch hobby together.  I know my Dad and I shared lots of good memories of watch purchases and attending watch events together.

Wish I could come down and meet up with you bro, but I already have plans that weekend.  Definitely another time.  I'm sure you'll have a blast!

Nice job, Mimo.

You gotta get them indoctrinated early.

@Kaplan did you see Kristian Haagens wrist game yesterday on "auktions huset".

Nautilus and solid gold LW spido, he was also rolling in a brand new Range Rover SC (on dealer plates).

mimo - have been a bit busy over the last few days (work stuff), but just wanted to post this note (at 2AM EST) and let you know how much I appreciated seeing these awesome wrist shots with your son.  Really, truly warms my heart.  Aside from the distinct pleasure we have from each other's company and our horological adventures, I personally believe pictures like this - that lovely, personal touch of why timepieces matter to us and the kind of joy they give us - is why I keep returning to this thread.

Slow clap here.

Looking forward to the meet up!  Do you have a sense of when you'll be around so that I can make sure I visit then?  Weekends are a bit tough for me as I block out chunks of time to spend with my girls, but I'd love to see you!

Wife's birthday coming up soon.  Didn't get her a watch this time around.  But I did get her the new iPad Air this afternoon (launched today) and an iPad case:

Stitch will be there noon on Sunday, Frills. I may be stalking him...

Time to stalk Frills on the Instagrams!  I tend to post more after a couple of drinks or when my dogs calm down for a couple of pictures.

Yesterday marked less than 3 months until our civil wedding here in the states.  Seems like April 2013 was not too long ago when I purposed.

Also does everyone get to enjoy the seasons changing?  Our deck looks over the "Green Hills" our area of town was named after and the leaves are a changing!
