Thanks for the insight....as excited as I am to buy a watch, I want to make sure I am in love with it.

but srsly, the perrelet brand has a very rich history, but its a revival brand. it was dormant for a very long time until the present ownership (i forget who) bought the rights and starting making watches again.

then again, if you love the watch, there is much to be said for that. but since you only said "it caught your eye" i gather its not something you are head over heels in love with.

+1 Agree 100%.

Khal, personally, its not a brand that makes much of an impression on me.  However, if you love it, go for it.  Only you know what the right decision is.

Well said, shoot for an IWC or JLC. You'll be surprised what you can find cost wise with a little homework and patience. You'll love the quality and they can make good investments.

i dont know a whole lot about their current models. they do make some very pretty pieces, but id favor the IWC. if you dont want to or cant get to the IWC, i imagine there might be some better options in whatever price range you are looking to stick to.

Seems pretty pricey for something that isn't far removed from a Nomos.

No.

Just taken from their blog.

However, I have pretty much decided that my next nice watch will be an RGM. (Thinking about their American Made caliber 20)
