I completely agree. I just think that the merit of RGM watches is in the completely Made in the USA ones. I am a fan of their designs, but I think that the price is a bit steep for the ETA variations. I just haven't seen enough information about them to really think about putting down the cash for one.

but a 1953 watch shouldn't look so good, should it?


That was my first thought for a 1953 watch...and price is a little high. I'm not a fan of redials, prefer the character that patina provides.

Here's a pic of my 1959 Omega Seamaster for comparison.

Thank you! Yeah, the face has aged quite a bit--looks better in person. It's a great watch--has a beautiful movement.
