I'd take that Stowa over this IWC Frankenwatch monstrosity any day.

I would not buy it. Plus, did you see that this MONSTER is 48mm not including the crown? That will legitimately look like a dinner plate.

For a similar price, without the IWC name, you could pick up a Stowa. Aesthetically similar, except this is a 'real' wristwatch, from a company with its own heritage.

Love the patina, and extra points for the nato. Something like this or a nicely faded raspberry gmt are perhaps the only rollies I'd consider wearing.

Yesterday, I saw someone wearing a gold Daytona (on a strap). It looked like he was trying to staple money to his wrist.

So - I PM'ed Greg - the irony is too good not to share.

Greg named this thread "Watch Porn" when he started it.... the mods changed it to TWAT in an effort to "clean up the thread titles" smile.gif

WIN!! erm, well, maybe loss, but win for teh funnay.

I wonder if they actually thought the acronym through, or it was a sneaky attempt by a disgruntled moderator to get some dirt back in there.

New GO Regulator! I am a bit of a sucker for Regulators, so I am pretty excited about this one! Any thoughts?

Saw images of the new GMT the other day and immediately called my AD to put my name on the list. 3-4 months, and I can hardly contain my excitement.

Newcomer, that's a beauty! Congratulations.

Bawlin, that watch looks better in every new picture...let the anticipation begin :)

I like it.  I'm not sure if I could get use to telling time on a regulator, but I do like this one.

I will always like the old "Pepsi" GMTs, but this watch is hot!  I like this a lot more than the old "Coke" red/black bezel.  I look forward to seeing some pix after you have given one a new home.
