what's the complication at 2 o'clock? Is that an AM/PM window? Moon Phase?

Thanks, fellas!

The day/night disc is my favourite feature. The sun and stars are done in gold, and they're incredibly dynamic when you look at them; they change from mirror black to almost white depending on the lighting angle.

You get a hint of the perfect mirror finish on the sun decoration in this wrist shot, but it's nothing like how it appears in real life. It's a fun watch that would definitely get worn a lot more if I lived in a different city.

I love the sun/moon model shown above as well, especially in the GT-cased 40-hour-movement version.

I love the "jour-nuit" Reversos. A little whimsy goes a long way with me.

My CF strap should be here on Wednesday by the way! I will be sure to do a pictorial comparison of the CF straps that I have handled. I am wishing I had sprung for the rubbing backing now.

we look forward.

buy another with rubber backing for comparison purposes. tell CF you are a blogger doing a review and ask them to give you for free.

I was thinking about making a thread about how I tried to get into their Parisian boutique, but they wouldn't let me in because I was too WASPY.

That 171 has the same bracelet as my 170. Love the contrast between the polished steel and Ti. It's a wearable weight too, unlike their solid steel bracelet models. Nice pics.

I'm a bit more of a traditionalist when it comes to a Reverso's size, but I have to admit the complications and overall design are very striking in this XGT package.   As I favor non-round dress watches I can see a Reverso is a must have for me at some point.  Thanks for sharing some photos. cheers.gif

Has anyone tried these straps?

http://www.basandlokes.com/handmade-leather-watch-straps/

A bit on the pricey side, I am wondering if they are worth the money.

They're an Australian outfit I believe.

Never bought from them due to so many other, seemingly better options out there.

My go to people for PAM straps are micahstraps.com and simonastraps.com
