The Watch Appreciation Thread - Page 1311

I also think it would look good on a dark brown, stichy.

Probably more a question of how that choice affects the rest of your rotation (i.e. whether you already have several other pieces that you're wearing on brown straps).

Shame there aren't some more reasonable options out there for you....I don't flip many watches, but I do like playing around with different strap combos.

Edit: poor grammarz

Newcomer: that LF looks gorgeous.

I think I would prefer the blue on the dial to be a bit darker/more "royal", but would have to see it in person to know for sure.

There are 3 variations - black, very dark brown and tan, I think dark brown is better (also looking for it at descent price).

Not my pic, just for reference.

Oooh...having seen the pic that sdolina posted....I think the tan looks awfully good.

What do you say, stichy? Lighten things up for the spring time?

Yes, I think that would be quite nice as well smile.gif.

And stitchy... go with the tan strap! I think tan straps look great on Reversos!

thanks for all the input guys! i thought the strap was only in black, thanks for showing me the other options, sdolina.

my panerai strap is tan, and i think it lends to a less formal look. i use the reverso with my dressier fits, like suits or a somber SC, so i think i would go dark brown. ill keep you posted of course!

ps - sdolina, let me know if you find any good places to kop. also, did you post about this topic on a watch forum? i think i saw your avatar in a forum conversation about this when i was looking into it.

Going with the all-time design favourite today. I dig the fat sérifs on this insert.

There's just something about the red and blue...

Very, very cool. I am digging the GMT a lot. I kind of want one now. I am finally starting to crave a Rolex a bit. The temptation is not even remotely close to coming to fruition (I am actually very content with where I am right now, how odd), but I think that would be my next choice.

Keep it coming!

For my taste, I'd take an explorer II over a gmt master. I suppose the ceramic gmt master is pretty nice

Nice SMP beowolf.

I love my stainless version (2254.50)....but never have owned any titanium pieces, Omega or otherwise.

This is not today's watch, but here's a pic with some red and blue action:

Happy Friday, all of you watch.... appreciators.
