I will likely go back for a JLC Master Ultra-thin Moon in about a year.

That looks delightful - congratulations and wear it in great health!

Great watch - not going to trump Newcomer's breakdown, but I prefer the RDM in person much more. The MUT seems to be in a grey area stylistically - too in between the more playful styling and something more refined - like a MUT moon.

And while we were on the subject, one of my favorite brands for asymmetry:

And a perpetual with lume, blue hands, and a ceramic case (oh my! happy.gif ):

I agree! I prefer the RDM over the MUT RDM. The latter seems a bit schizophrenic aesthetically. But the MUT case is just gorgeous. It really is a thing of beauty.

And I love that GO. I just think I prefer the Lange 1 Moonphase frown.gif.

That watch is super nice.

Oh BTW Dino944 the salesman had not heard of the one for one deal. Neither had the boutique manager. I smacked them across their agog faces with my chamois gloves and bid them good day sirs! The gall!

The managing director will be hearing from me soon regarding his poorly trained front line staff.

I don't think anyone gives you more watch for your money than the Germans, and this applies at any price level, from Stowa to Lange.

SO - here is a mini-review, a little premature, but:

It's got a fairly thick case, which I thought would be an issue, but it really sits well on the wrist thanks to a good amount of bevel on the case back.

It's quite easy to read - despite the (I feel) subtlety of the 24 hour and Cities wheels.

In a matter of pure inconvenience for me personally, the date wheel hides some important cities (I have a team in Hong Kong, but it is sitting nicely at 13:00 when Chicago is at the top. I actually love the way the date wheel cantilevers over the cities wheel in general through.

My biggest gripe is the lack of DST lines. I just don't understand why those little red line-dot symbols on countries that observe DST are not standard on a cities wheel. I would just set myself on NY instead of Chicago now, but then I still don't know what the observance is for other countries, so I am just subtracting an hour in my head for Asia right now. It's better than nothing, but it does make a strong case for the 2 time zone watch over the true world-time.
