I too have been trying to decide which I like better and agree with many of your points (especially the strap. In brown), but I prefer the hands on the non-US version.

I guess I'm just lucky that they don't make one exactly like I'd want ;-)

Sure the lume is a "pre-aged" caramel, but IMO it looks a bit better than the regular TTR1931's slightly pale greenish lume hue. Don't know why, maybe that green reminds me of the cheap Casios I grew up with, or the many cheapo bedside Seiko alarm clocks I've had through the years.

I think I prefer the hands and lum of the Non-US version.  Still a beauty.

As someone who recently bought a Reverso for his wife partly because of Stitchy's earlier posting about the Squadra, I will have to concur with this latest statement.........

Today I mixed up some blue with a bit of white.  Daytona with Edward Green Galway boots in midnight blue and navy suede.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Great Combo.

I could almost match you, but my Galways aren't due until next week.

They're the Dark Oak and Walnut vareity.

I love, love, love the Galways. I will probably order the dark oak / walnut version at some point later this year.  Very comfortable, and the last really works for me!  Post pics of your Galway/timepiece combo once the boots arrive!

Frilly, your shoe collection is keeping up with the Rolexes nicely - and I want a better pic of those boots!  But since you got those PPs, frankly you've no choice but to go over to the dark side and try bespoke...decisions.gif

Thanks, will do.

The cordovan on the USA LE is IMO a better match as well. I take back my earlier comments re: Casa Fugly. But imagine this watch on a unlined brown cordovan strap with a single row of contrast cream stitching by the lugs!

I agree, I very much enjoy my Casa Fag edition 1931.

You should put up more pics of your new Rouge too! Thats a real showstopper.
