i am all for asymmetry, but i would stick with the MUTM of the two. i think it has a nicer look imo.

Hoping the duck is cooked perfectly as a result of that fantastic chronograph...and some culinary skills never hurt either.

Alas, I already have a Chrono in the form of the Speedy Pro. As much as I love Chronos, I want just a bit more variety . Being able to dress the watch I buy down at the end of the day is not really much of a priority to me though! More of a plus, than anything!

I will definitely let you know when I get to Philly. We could pop by Govberg for sure. I don't know if the purchase of both is even remotely in the books though, unfortunately! And interesting observation about the MUT Moon--I guess I always thought my JLC MC could be dressed down fairly easy, but I thought that was mainly attributed to the large bezel.

Yes, I definitely think the MUT Moon is more classic and objectively more appealing. But there is something about the RDM that I always found charming. I think I prefer the former version and its quirkiness, but the latter definitely has its charms. The new case is glorious.



Also, to continue the theme: Speedy Pro and Halibut... not quite its natural environment!

Hah hah, love this pic! Good luck on the hunt, Newcomer! Alas, I believe I am on another hunt. Kind of. I'm half-hoping I don't find a good piece in the secondary market for the sake of my wallet, but the ever-familiar itch is back. Ugh.

From a purely selfish and voyeuristic point of view, I'm looking forward to this: considering the level of awesomeness you have accrued from zero in a mere three months, the fact that you described this "itch" elsewhere as a "possible end-game watch", indicates it might be pretty spectacular, and certainly in the eyes of cheap bums like me. So, thanks in advance!

I think the RDM is a very special watch, and will bring more pleasure over the long term than the MUTM. The RDM can also take a tan strap with aplomb, and something the MUTM cannot do.

obviously you must buy both.
