Hey MGLL, Congrats!  Great choice.  Its definitely one of my favorite recent offerings from IWC.  I'm sure it will give you many years of enjoyment.

As for it being the start of something you don't think you can control...resistance is futile decisions.gif

Agreed--IWC makes fantastic bracelets. I have one on my Aquatimer and would love one for my BI.

Indeed, and the link removal system is just excellent! I was able to fit the bracelet perfectly with two toothpicks!

ant702, that is excellent advice apart from one small detail... I have already read the whole thread icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif I did so prior to this purchase and essentially learnt everything I know about watches! Thanks to you guys I already have a grail list about 10 pages long baldy[1].gif

Cheers Dino, much appreciated!  Your posts in particular have made for excellent reading, you also have a fantastic collection - both past and present!

I am very pleased with the choice, I particularly like the fact that only people that know at least a little about watches are aware of what is on my wrist, yet the wrist presence is undeniable!

Ugh, so, once again flip-flopping, perhaps now for the last time...

Master Ultra Thin Moon, or Master Ultra Thin Reserve de Marche. I forgot how much I love the Reserve de Marche. There are aspects I love about the previous version of the RDM, and that I wish were imported into the new one, but I love the asymmetry.

You still have another month to confused yourself with more. Are you still planning to purchase in Philly? Or at least shop there?

I will be going through the Philly AD--they are just offering very excellent price. And I had the chance to see both in person about a week ago when I visited a friend in Houston, and I am just unable to decide right now. I am not opposed to purchasing by phone. I have a couple weeks before the MUT Moon comes in. But the casualness of the MUT RDM really appeals to me. I am worried that the MUT Moon will wear a bit too formal, and it felt a little out of place when dressing more casual. The MUT RDM on a tan ostrich strap would look great methinks.

This is a very real issue, and I would love to see something different on the board devil.gif

I actually thought the MUT Moon was slightly more casual in person than I had assumed. But I also link size to formality; bigger being less formal to me. It's just something that's in my head.. I've never had much interest in the RDM and have never handled it, so I can't provide an opinion there.

Let me know when you are in Philly; if you need someone to convince you it's a good idea to purchase both I'll be happy to play the role of devil on your shoulder.

i am all for asymmetry, but i would stick with the MUTM of the two. i think it has a nicer look imo.

I cant argue with that either
